Top World Hotels

Posted on January 28, 2010 by Daniel

Part of traveling is often staying in hotels. Of course you want to spend time in an exotic location actually seeing that location, but the right luxury hotel can be an exotic location in itself. Here are a few of the most memorable hotels throughout the world.

Hotel Cipriani, Hotel Plaza Athenee, Park Hyatt in Tokyo…

Hotel Cipriani in Venice
The Hotel Cipriani offers a breathtaking view of Venice. Located on Giudecca Island, four minutes from San Marco, visitors to Hotel Cipriani feel as if they have been transported to another universe. The hotel offers 95 luxurious rooms and suites with views of the open Lagoon and its islands or the Casanova gardens. It’s a great spot for a romantic getaway or just to experience one of the jewels of Italy for oneself.

Hotel Plaza Athenee in Paris
On your continuing tour through Europe, make sure to stop at Paris’ Hotel Plaza Athenee. Sure, any hotel in Paris is bound to have breathtaking views and an air filled with romance, but the Plaza Athenee offers one of the richest Parisian experiences. It’s actually possible to get a suite with a full view of the Eiffel Tower, and it’s a short stop from the hotel lobby to the Champs Elysees. The glass bar in the hotel is one of the city’s biggest nighttime hotspots, and La Cour Jardin is a wonderful tranquil garden spot for you to use to recharge.

Park Hyatt in Tokyo
If you’re ready for something completely different from the European experience, travel across the world to Japan and find the Park Hyatt Tokyo, which may look familiar as the location of the critically acclaimed film, Lost in Translation. People may have an image of Japanese hotels as little more than cubicles that cram in as many people as possible, but that’s not the Park Hyatt, which has large rooms with a view of the breathtaking Mount Fuji and the constantly lit skyline. At the Park Hyatt, you can enjoy drinks with celebrities at the New York Bar, relaxing around the bamboo garden of the Peak Lounge on the 41st floor or swimming in the pool on the 45th. The Park Hyatt is an epic experience.

Once you’ve been to one of these hotels, it may be tough to get back to your normal life, but you can always start planning your next trip to another one!
