114 Australian water skiers broke the world record for the most people water skiing.  The boat, a huge catamaran, had to tow all of the water skiers for 1 nautical mile.  The record was broken in Tasmania, Australia.

The previous waterskiing record was 100 people, achieved in Cairns, Queensland and has been held for 20 years!  There have been a number of attempts in Tasmania, this year and finally they seem to have been successful.  Although they are still awaiting final ratification from the world record authorities.
