What do you think of the official anthem for the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa?  The World Cup Anthem is an adapted version of Wavin’ Flag by hip-hop artist K’naan.

K’naan was born in Somalia and now lives in Canada, his real name is Keinan Abdi Warsame. His name K’naan means “traveler” in the Somalian language, so he has lived up to his name.

The new version of Wavin’ Flag  has been specially mixed for the Soccer World Cup, giving it an upbeat celebratory African feel.  Played over and over again this anthem is sure to lift the crowd at the Football World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
